Gentle Touch Home Care provides services to clients who use Medicaid and to Private Pay clients. Private Pay clients may also enjoy a wide array of special services including crafts, and birthday celebrations. The services and fees for each category are listed below.

Medicaid
Any client with a blue or pink Medicaid card is eligible for our services with a physician's approval. Medicaid will cover 60 hours a month, limited to 3 hours per day. Care is available Sunday through Saturday and can be scheduled for your convenience. Once eligibility is determined, Gentle Touch Home Care takes care of all paperwork and billing.

Private Pay
Our private pay option is available to clients who do not receive Medicaid. It is also a great option for the family member(s) of the client who may need a break from caring for their loved one. Our private pay clients have access to a variety of special services not covered by Medicaid. Care is available from Sunday to Saturday and is scheduled for your convenience. There is a per-hour fee; call (910) 947-3805 for details. Billing may be set up on a weekly or monthly basis and is invoiced in advance. There may be an additional fee for some of our services.

Special Services (Private Pay)

Our special services are provided to those clients who are already receiving some of the above services. We are not a home/yard maintenance company but we do provide some of these services sparingly for our clients. Our special services are available on a per-hour basis.   • Paying for Special Services - The client or loved one must send a check in advance for any of our special services, made payable to Gentle Touch Home Care.

  • Crafts (Fee for cards and the use of stamps and ink, crayons, and painting materials. Please call (910) 947-3805 for details).

We provide our birthday celebration for our clients whose families live in another area and cannot be there for their special occasion. We make birthdays special with cupcakes or small sugar-free desert, party hats, and noise makers

  • Cake: We will order a birthday cake or sugar-free dessert from a nearby grocery store deli bakery.

  • Photography (We can take photographs of the special occasion with the client's camera. The client would be responsible for providing the film and development)

  • Shopping (Per-hour Fee plus .32 per mile. Please call (910) 947-3805 for details).
    We Will Shop for Birthday, Christmas and Special Occasion Gifts So the Client does not have to.
  • Reading to Client (Fee: No extra charge. Can read client's book or one from library)

  • Pedicure and Manicure (This is limited to toe and finger nail painting. Fee: no extra charge if client has supplies)

  • Transportation (Client must sign a waiver to be transported. Per-hour Fee plus .32 per mile. Please call (910) 947-3805 for details).
